Decision Reports
Decision Reports are issued by the Board, but sometimes the ERCB appoints examiners from its senior staff to conduct a hearing. The examiners then submit a report to the Board about the hearing and application. The Board makes a decision about the application and issues a Decision Report. Before 2001 these reports were called Examiner Reports. After 2001 the term ‘Examiner Report’ was no longer used. Also before 2001, some decisions, such as decisions from pre-hearing meetings, were called Memorandum of Decision. The ERCB still conducts pre-hearing meetings and other types of proceedings resulting in reports being issued, but now these are all called Decision Reports and are listed in the table below.
