NOTICE OF HEARING

NOVA GAS TRANSMISSION LTD.

APPLICATION N0. 1245440

PERMIT APPLICATION FOR FORT SASKATCHEWAN EXTENSION, AND SCOTFORD SALES METER STATION, JOSEPHBURG SALES METER STATION, AKENSIDE SALES METER STATION, AND ASTOTIN SALES METER STATION

 

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing to consider Application No. 1245440, at a venue yet to be determined, on Monday, April 8, 2002, commencing at 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance. 

Nature of the Application

Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for an approval to construct and operate a mainline delivery extension into the Fort Saskatchewan area and four meter stations to service three industrial customers in the area as described below:

         approximately 77.5 kilometres of 508 mm OD pipeline from Legal Subdivision (LSD) 13, Section 31, Township 57, Range 15, West of the 4th Meridian to LSD 8-3-55-22W4M,

         Scotford Sales Meter Station for Dow Chemical Canada Inc. (Dow) located at LSD 1-13-55-22W4M,

         Josephburg Sales Meter Station for Dow located at LSD 7-10-55-22W4M,

         Akenside Sales Meter Station for Agrium Inc. located at LSD 7-10-55-22W4M,

         Astotin Sales Meter Station for Sherritt International Corporation located at LSD 8-3-55-22 W4M
