Take Notice that Examiners appointed by the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1357068, at the Beaverlodge Community Centre, 1020 – 4th Avenue, Beaverlodge, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of Application No. 1357068
Anadarko Canada Corporation (Anadarko) has applied pursuant to Section 7.002(1) of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for a licence to construct and operate a multi-well gas battery with 100 mol/kmol H2S, in LSD 12-7-72-10W6M in the Sinclair Field. The facility would consist of a line heater, separator, emergency flare stack with a flare knock-out tank, and methanol and inhibitor tanks. The purpose of the facility would be to separate and measure production from an existing gas well located at LSD 12-7-72-10W6M.
Within the same application, Anadarko has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for licenses to construct and operate one level 2 pipeline and two level 1 pipelines, for the purpose of transporting natural gas. The proposed level 2 pipeline would be approximately 1.74 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 168.3 millimetre (mm) for transporting natural gas with 100 mol/kmol H2S from LSD 12-7-72-10W6M to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 8-13-72-11W6M. Of the two proposed level 1 pipelines, the first one would follow the same routing as the level 2 pipeline with a maximum outside diameter of 60.3 mm for transporting fuel gas with 0.00 mol/kmol H2S. The second proposed level 1 pipeline, would be approximately 0.86 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 mm for transporting natural gas with 0.00 mol/kmol H2S from LSD 12-7-72-10W6 to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 16-12-72-11W6M.
The facility and pipelines would be located approximately 6.2 km Northwest of the Town of Beaverlodge.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener's rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener's intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,
(v) the reasons why the intervener believes the Board should decide in the manner that the intervener advocates, and
(vi) the intervener's efforts, if any, to resolve issues associated with the proceeding directly with the applicant;

In accordance with Section 12 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, all documents filed in respect of this proceeding must be placed on the public record unless otherwise ordered by the Board.
Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
