Information Sessions on Commingling of Production from Two or More Pools in the Wellbore Using the Self-Declared Commingling Process

On September 14, 2006, the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) issued Bulletin 2006-32: Implementation of Revised Processes for the Management of Commingling of Production from Two or More Pools in the Wellbore. That bulletin announced the EUB’s decision to target an implementation date of December 15, 2006, for the self-declared (SD) commingling process.

The EUB will hold information sessions related to the conditions under which SD commingling may occur and the related data collection requirements. Companies intending to commingle production using the SD commingling process are encouraged to attend one the sessions.

The information sessions are scheduled as follows:

• December 11, 2006, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• December 11, 2006, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• December 15, 2006, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• December 15, 2006, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

in Govier Hall at the EUB, 640 – 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta.

Additional sessions will be scheduled if necessary.
