Directive 054: Performance Presentations, Auditing, and Surveillance of In Situ Oil Sands Schemes Issued
The Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) has released Directive 054: Performance Presentations, Auditing, and Surveillance of In Situ Oil Sands Schemes, which establishes more detailed requirements for annual reporting of in situ oil sands schemes.
This new directive
- better defines information and format requirements for annual performance presentations on in situ oil sands schemes,
- ensures more consistent, detailed, and relevant performance presentations for the growing number of in situ schemes operating in Alberta, and
- incorporates the information requirements for resource management reports required by the gas-over-bitumen Decision 2005-122, eliminating the requirement for separate resource management reports.
The directive also includes compliance information, in accordance with Directive 019: EUB Compliance Assurance—Enforcement.
This directive supersedes Interim Directive (ID) 2002-03: Performance Presentations for In Situ Oil Sands Schemes, which is hereby rescinded.
Directive 054 is available on the EUB Web site www.ercb.ca and in print from EUB Information Services, 640 – 5 Avenue SW, main floor; telephone: (403) 297-8311 [press 2]; fax: (403) 297-7040; e-mail: eub.infoservices@eub.ca. Comments and questions should be forwarded to Andrew MacPherson, P.Eng. (telephone: 403-297-5613; e-mail: andrew.macpherson@eub.ca).
