Adjustment to 2009 Coal Mines Sector Administration Fees

The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) announces an adjustment to the 2009 administration fee invoices for the coal mines sector.

The original 2009 coal mines sector invoices were based on total production volumes of bituminous raw coal rather than clean coal volumes. As a result, the invoices required adjustment. The total amount of the allocation to the coal mines sector ($1 742 000.00) remains unchanged. In recalculating the individual invoice amounts, the adjustment factor has changed from 0.045976, as set out in Bulletin 2009-20: 2009 ERCB Administration Fee (Industry Levy), to 0.053744. All of the original coal mines sector invoices are cancelled. Revised invoices were mailed on July 31, 2009, and payments are due August 31, 2009.
