This report provides a source of information on the reserves of Alberta’s energy resources, including crude bitumen, crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, coal, and sulphur, as well as a 10-year supply/demand forecast of those energy resources. A supply/demand forecast of electricity in Alberta is also provided. The publication is being released in two parts: a report containing energy reserves and supply/demand information on an aggregated basis for the province, and a CD with the detailed reserves data for conventional natural gas, crude oil, and crude bitumen.

The CD contains tables showing detailed information on reserves, fluid properties, and other reservoir data on a pool/deposit basis for crude oil, conventional natural gas, and crude bitumen. A map showing Alberta’s designated oil and gas fields is distributed with the CD.
