ERCB Information Session, Tuesday, August 11, 2009

The information session will commence at 7:00 p.m. at the Best Western Grande Mountain Hotel, 9901 - 100 Street, Grande Cache, Alberta.

Milner Power Inc. (Milner) has submitted Application No. 1521988 for a coal mine permit and licence to the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB). The ERCB has scheduled a public hearing to consider the applications commencing on October 28, 2009.

In order to assist members of the public who may wish to participate in the hearing, the ERCB invites all interested parties to attend an information session, which will review the ERCB’s hearing processes and rules for intervener funding. Note that ERCB staff will not discuss the specifics and merits of Milner’s application, but will provide information intended to enable the public to engage effectively in the hearing process.
