Take notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) and Alberta Environment (AENV) may continue to process these applications without further notice if no submissions are received on or before February 28, 2003.

Nature of the Application
EUB Application No. 1283201

Alberta Oil Sands Pipeline Ltd. (AOSPL), a member of the Pembina Pipeline Group of Companies (Pembina), has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate three pipeline loops with a total approximate length of 156 kilometres (km) of 610 millimetre outside diameter pipe. These crude oil pipeline loops would parallel the existing AOSPL pipeline right-of-way or foreign lines where feasible. The Wandering River loop would be approximately 40 km in length, constructed between Legal Subdivision (LSD) 12, Section 21, Township 68, Range 17, West of the 4th Meridian (LSD 12-21-68-17 W4M) and LSD 2-3-65-19 W4M. The Boyle loop would be approximately 48 km in length, constructed between LSD 2-3-65-19 W4M and LSD 10-10-60-19 W4M. The Skaro loop would be constructed between LSD 16-32-57-19 W4M and LSD 15-17-53-23 W4M, and have an approximate length of 68 km.

Notes
Any submission shall contain information detailing:

(i) the desired disposition of the application;
(ii) the facts substantiating the position of the submitter;
(iii) the reasons why the submitter believes the EUB should decide in the manner advocated; and
(iv) how the proposed project, if approved, may directly and adversely affect the submitter.

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB or Alberta Environment but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
