Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) had scheduled a public hearing of Applications No. 1339435 and 1341408 at the Brunswick Motor Inn, 4807 51st Street, Vermilion, Alberta, commencing on January 4, 2005, at the hour of 11:00 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it has granted the request.

Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Applications No. 1339435 and 1341408 at the Brunswick Motor Inn, 4807 51st Street, Vermilion, Alberta, commencing on February 28, 2005, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Omers Energy Inc. (Omers) has applied pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for a licence to drill a vertical well from a surface location at Legal Subdivision (LSD) 4 of Section 33, Township 51, Range 13, West of the 4th Meridian. The proposed well would be located approximately 12 kilometres (km) east of Vegreville. The maximum hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) concentration of the well would be 0.00 mol/kmol (0 per cent). The purpose of the well would be to obtain gas production from the Waseca Member.

Omers has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate a pipeline for the purpose of transporting natural gas from the proposed well located at LSD 4-33-51-13 W4M to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 10-33-51-13 W4M. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 1.22 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 millimetre (mm) and would transport natural gas with a maximum H₂S concentration of 0.00 moles per kilomole (0 per cent). The proposed pipeline would be located approximately 12 km east of Vegreville.
