Oil and Gas concerns
If you have a concern or complaint about an energy facility in your community, contact your local ERCB Field Centre. ERCB staff perform thousands of inspections on oil and gas facilities every year, and they respond to emergencies and public concerns on a 24-hour basis.
Oil and Gas applications
The ERCB Applications Branch works on approvals, audits, and project reviews for new or modified oil and gas facilities. These facilities include wells, pipelines, batteries, and gas plants. If you have questions about specific ERCB applications, contact the ERCB Applications Help Line at (403) 297-4369 or by e-mail at Directive56.Help@ercb.ca
Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) involves facilitation and mediation when concerns and objections remain outstanding following negotiations between landowners and companies involving proposed facility applications for wells, pipelines, and plants. For more information on the ERCB's ADR program, call (403) 297-6252 or e-mail ADR@ercb.ca
