NOTICE OF HEARING
PROCEEDING NO. 1334429
CENTRICA CANADA LIMITED
BRUDERHEIM AREA

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) will hold a public hearing of Proceeding No. 1334429 at the Best Western Fort Saskatchewan Inn and Suites, 10115 – 88th Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, in the Ross Creek Room, commencing on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Nature of Proceeding No. 1334429
Centrica Canada Limited (Centrica) applied under Section 39 of the Energy Resources Conservation Act (the Act) for the EUB to review Decision 2002-101. The EUB issued Decision 2002-101 on November 26, 2002, following a public hearing held on June 20 and 21, 2002. The Board, on November 3, 2003, granted Centrica's request for review and directed that a hearing be scheduled to reconsider the original applications and in particular the issue of pipeline routing and to allow parties to fully address the issue of whether any of the proposed routes would serve the public interest. The hearing will therefore consider submissions and evidence concerning routes identified in the original applications.
