NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF HEARING

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of applications 1403470, 1403471, 1403473, 1403474 at the Lodgepole Multiuse Complex, 4501- 52 Avenue, Lodgepole, Alberta, commencing on Monday, November 28, 2005 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.
Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of applications 1403470, 1403471, 1403473, 1403474 at the Lodgepole Multiuse Complex, 4501- 52 Avenue, Lodgepole, Alberta, commencing on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the hour of 1:00 p.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Dominion Exploration Canada Ltd. has applied pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for four licenses to drill four Level three critical sour wells from two surface locations. One of the surface locations is to be located in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 10 of Section 22, Township 47, Range 10 West of the 5th Meridian and will have three wells drilled from this common surface location. Projected bottom hole locations would be in LSD 8-22-47-10W5, LSD 14-22-47-10W5, and LSD 16-22-47-10W5 (Applications No. 1403470, 1403471, 1403473). The second surface location is to located in LSD 8, Section 27, Township 47, Range 10 West of the 5th Meridian, and will have a bottom hole location of LSD 8-27-47-10W5 (Application No. 1403474). For all four wells the maximum hydrogen sulphide (H2S) concentration would be 266.7 moles per kilomole (26.67 per cent) and the cumulative H2S release rate for the drilling, completion and operating phases of the wells would be 5.00 cubic metres per second (m3/s) with a corresponding emergency planning zone (EPZ) of 6.87 kilometres. The purpose of all four wells would be to obtain oil production from the Nisku Formation. The three proposed wells at the surface location of LSD 10-22-47-10W5 would be approximately 5.0 kilometres southwest of the Hamlet of Lodgepole. The proposed well at the surface location of LSD 8-27-47-10W5 would be approximately 2.5 kilometres southwest of the Hamlet of Lodgepole.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener's rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener's intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
