Waste Reporting Requirements for Directive 047
Directive 047 on waste reporting requirements for oilfield waste management facilities was released on Feb 13, 2009 and comes into effect on Apr 1, 2009. It details the change replacing the S-25 reporting form with new electronic reporting through the Petroleum Registry of Alberta.
A readiness package for industry (Oilfield Waste Management Facility Submission Readiness Package) is available from the Registry Web site (www.petroleumregistry.gov.ab.ca). Part C of the package requests that ERCB waste facility approval holders provide the ERCB with a list of non-ERCB-regulated facilities associated with their facility to allow for the development of waste location IDs (send to Kerry.D.Robertson@ercb.ca). Part D of the package requests ERCB waste facility approval holders provide the Registry the source of fuel gas that is used by their facilities (send to Ann.Hagedorn@gov.ab.ca). Please submit this information by March 6, 2009.
