NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF HEARING
APPLICATIONS NO. 1331326, 1331327, 1331970 & 1358471

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of Applications No. 1331326, 1331327, 1331970 and 1358471 at the Tropical Inn, 5621 - 44 Street, Lloydminster, Alberta, commencing on October 18, 2004, at the hour of 10:30 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it has granted the request.
Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Applications No. 1331326, 1331327, 1331970 and 1358471 at the Tropical Inn, 5621 - 44 Street, Lloydminster, Alberta, commencing on November 24, 2004, at the hour of 10:30 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of Application Nos. 1331326, 1331327 and 1331970
Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) has applied pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for a licence to drill three slant oil wells, two from a surface location at Legal Subdivision (LSD) 1 of Section 4, Township 52, Range 1, West of the 4th Meridian and one from LSD 1-10-52-1W4M. The projected bottomhole locations are in LSD 1-4, 2-4, and 8-10-52-1W4M respectively. The proposed wells would be located approximately 20 kilometres (km) north of Lloydminster. The maximum hydrogen sulphide (H2S) concentration of all three wells would be 0.0 mol/kmol (0 per cent). The purpose of the wells would be to obtain oil production from the Sparky Member.

CNRL has also submitted an application in accordance with Section 7.001 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations requesting approval to construct and operate a multiwell oil battery in LSD 1-4-52-1W4M in the Lloydminster field. The proposed battery would consist of two heated tanks for storage and measurement of production from the proposed wells located at LSD 1-4 and LSD 2-4-52-1W4M. The maximum H2S concentration for the battery would be 0.0 mol/kmol (0 per cent). The proposed battery would be located approximately 20 km north of Lloydminster.

i) the desired disposition of the application,
ii) the facts substantiating the position of the submitter,
iii) the reasons why the submitter believes the Board should decide in the manner advocated, and
iv) how the proposed project, if approved, may directly and adversely affect the submitter.
If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to this application even if you have previously filed a submission with the Board or with CNRL on this application. If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the application without further notice or without a hearing.

In accordance with Section 12 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, all documents filed in respect of these proceedings must be placed on the public record unless otherwise ordered by the Board.
Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
