NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF HEARING
APPLICATION NO. 1345578
ENCANA CORPORATION
WESTEROSE SOUTH FIELD

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) had scheduled a public hearing of application No. 1345578 at the Lakedell Agricultural Society, in the County of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, commencing on September 15, 2004, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The Board received a request from an interested party to reschedule the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.

Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1345578 at the Lakedell Agricultural Society, in the County of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, commencing on November 3, 2004, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The hearing will be held in the Main Hall of the Lakedell Agricultural Society, which is located south of Highway No. 13 on Lakedell Road, and south of the Village at Pigeon Lake. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Nature of the Application

EnCana Corporation (EnCana) has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for a licence to construct and operate a pipeline to transport natural gas containing 0.0 moles per kilomole (mol/kmol) or 0.0 per cent hydrogen sulphide (H2S) from a well located at LSD 02-33-45-2 W5M to tie-in to an existing pipeline located at LSD 06-28-45-2 W5M. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 1.4 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 88.90 millimetres. The proposed pipeline would be located approximately 30 km north of the Town of Rimbey.

Any submission filed shall contain information detailing

i)  the desired disposition of the applications,

If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the application without further notice or without a hearing.

In accordance with Section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB, but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
