Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1345690 and 1362181 in the Multipurpose Room at the Stettler Recreation Centre, 2nd floor, 6202 44 Avenue, Stettler, Alberta, commencing on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at the hour of 10:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Bearspaw Petroleum Ltd. (Bearspaw) submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval for two pipelines from a pipeline tie in point at Legal Subdivision (LSD) 3, Section 10, Township 37, Range 20, West of the 4th Meridian to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 4-33-37-20W4M. The first proposed pipeline would be approximately 8.05 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 millimetres (mm) and would transport natural gas with a maximum hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) concentration of 50 moles per kilomole (5.0 per cent). The proposed pipeline would operate as a level 1 pipeline. The second proposed pipeline would be approximately 8.05 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 88.9 mm and would transport natural gas with no H₂S content.

Bearspaw submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate a pipeline from a pipeline tie-in point at LSD 4-33-37-20W4M to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 2-16-38-20W4M. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 5.17 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 mm, and would transport natural gas with an H₂S concentration of 50 mol/kmol (5.0 per cent). The proposed pipeline would be operated as a level 1 pipeline.
