NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF HEARING

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of Application No. 1440206 at the Alberta Energy and Utilities Building, West Hall, 640-5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta commencing on Thursday September 28, 2006, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.
Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1440206 at the Telus Convention Centre, 120- 9 Avenue SE, Calgary Alberta, commencing on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Richmount Petroleum Ltd. (Richmount) submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate two pipelines. One pipeline is to be constructed for the purpose of transporting natural gas from Legal Subdivision (LSD) 11, Section 12, Township 23, Range 28, West of the 4th Meridian to a pipeline tie in point at LSD 2-4-23-28W4M. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 7.06 kilometers (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 millimetre (mm) and would transport natural gas with a maximum H2S concentration of 3.0 moles per kilomole (0.3 per cent (%)). The proposed pipeline would be operated as a Level 1 pipeline.
The second pipeline is for the purpose of transporting natural gas from LSD 2-12-23-28W4M to a tie in point at LSD 2-4-23-28W4M. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 6.05 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 168.3 mm and would transport natural gas with a maximum H2S concentration of 0.0%.
Both proposed pipelines would be located approximately 4.0 km east of the City of Calgary.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener’s rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener’s intended participation,

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
