Update on the Draft Revised Edition of Directive 071: Emergency Preparedness and Response Requirements for the Petroleum Industry and ERCBH2S Version 1.20

The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) has received a significant amount of feedback on the draft revised edition of Directive 071: Emergency Preparedness and Response Requirements for the Petroleum Industry.

The ERCB had intended to release the revised edition of Directive 071 in June 2010. However, in order to sufficiently review and respond appropriately to the significant volume of feedback received, the ERCB has deferred the release until the end of December. ERCBH2S Version 1.20 will also be released with the revised edition of Directive 071, as will a summary of the feedback received.
