Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1085114 at the Best Western Wayside Inn, 5411 44th Street, Lloydminster, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 9:00 a. m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Canadian Natural Resources Limited applied pursuant to section 5.190 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations and section 79(4) of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act to establish holdings in the northeast and southwest quarters of Section 8 of Township 51, Range 1, West of the 4th Meridian (Section 8-51-1 W4M), all of Section 16-51-1 W4M, and the north half and southwest quarter of Section 17-51-1 W4M, for the production of oil from the Mannville Group. The proposed holdings would have a 100 metre (m) interwell distance, 50 m buffer and a well density of one well per pool per legal subdivision (lsd) for the northeast and southwest quarters of Section 8-51-1 W4M and the north half and southwest quarter of Section 17-51-1 W4M, and two wells per pool per lsd for Section 16-51-1 W4M.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain information detailing:
(i) the desired disposition of the application,
(ii) the facts substantiating the position of the submitter, and
(iii) the reasons why the submitter believes that the EUB should decide in the manner advocated.
If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the application without further notice or without a hearing.
In accordance with section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.
Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB, but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
