Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of Applications No. 1393397, 1393399, 1393401, 1393404, 1393405, 1393406, 1393407, 1393410, 1393412, 1393414, 1393415, 1393419, 1393442, 1394241, 1394246, 1412764 & 1431492 at the Torrington Community Centre, 202 - 2 Avenue South, Torrington, Alberta, commencing on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it granted the request.
Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Applications No. 1393397, 1393399, 1393401, 1393404, 1393405, 1393406, 1393407, 1393410, 1393412, 1393414, 1393415, 1393419, 1393442, 1394241, 1394246, 1412764 & 1431492 at the Torrington Community Centre, 202 - 2 Avenue South, Torrington, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of Applications No. 1393397, 1393399, 1393401, 1393404, 1393405, 1393406, 1393407, 1393410, 1393412, 1393414, 1393415, 1393419, 1393442, 1394241 & 1394246
EnCana Corporation (EnCana) has applied pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, for licenses to drill 15 vertical wells. The maximum hydrogen sulphide (H2S) concentration of each well would be approximately 0 moles per kilomole (0.0 per cent). Refer to Appendix A for the surface location and purpose of each well.
Nature of Application No. 1431492 (formerly 1393882)
EnCana submitted an application in accordance with Section 7.001 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations requesting approval to construct and operate a 1000 kilowatt gas compressor at an existing compressor station in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 8 of Section 31, Township 32, Range 25, West of the 4th Meridian. The amendment would also include an inlet separator.
Nature of Application No. 1412764
EnCana submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate 46 pipeline segments to tie the above noted wells into existing infrastructure. The pipeline segments all have outside diameters ranging from 88.9 millimetres (mm) to 219.1 mm, and vary in length from 0.08 kilometres (km) to 6.2 km.
The project area is within Township 32, Ranges 25 and 26 W4M, and Township 33, Range 25 W4M. The nearest urban centre is the Town of Torrington which is located within the area of the proposed project. See the attached map.

Any reply submissions that EnCana wishes to file responding to the interveners' submissions must be filed with the Board and served on all parties who filed an intervener's submission on or before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2006.
Notes
Any intervener's submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener's rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener's intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,
(v) the reasons why the intervener believes the Board should decide in the manner that the intervener advocates, and
(vi) the intervener's efforts, if any, to resolve issues associated with the proceeding directly with the applicant;
(b) the name, address in Alberta, telephone number, fax number and, if available, e-mail address of the intervener;
(c) if the intervener is represented by a representative, the name, address in Alberta, telephone number, fax number and, if available, e-mail address of the representative;(

If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to these applications even if you have previously filed a submission with the Board or with EnCana Corporation on these applications.
If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the applications without further notice or without a hearing.
In accordance with Section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.
Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
Note: In accordance with Section 12 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, all documents filed in respect of this proceeding must be placed on the public record unless otherwise ordered by the Board.
