Nature of the Application

Husky Oil Operations Ltd. has applied pursuant to Section 80 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act (the Act) for an order prescribing that all tracts within the drilling spacing unit comprising Section 17 of Township 55, Range 19, West of the 4th Meridian, be operated as a unit for the production of gas from all zones to the base of the Nisku Formation, through the well with the unique identifier 100/07-17-055-19W4M/00.

The applicant requested, among other things, that costs and revenues under the pooling order be allocated on a tract area basis, and that it be named the operator of the well to be produced. The applicant has also requested the equalization of the cost of recompleting the well in the formations named in the order. The applicant did not request any penalty provision for the order.
