NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF HEARING
APPLICATIONS NO. 1470139 AND 1473871
TALISMAN ENERGY INC.
TURNER VALLEY FIELD

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of Applications No. 1470139 and 1473871 at the Foothills Centennial Centre, #4 - 204 Community Way, Okotoks, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.

Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Applications No. 1470139 and 1473871 at the Foothills Centennial Centre, #4 - 204 Community Way, Okotoks, Alberta, commencing on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Nature of the Applications
Talisman Energy Inc. (Talisman) has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate four pipelines.

Application No. 1470139 is for a licence to construct and operate two Level 1 pipelines for the purpose of transporting oil well effluent from a well located in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 9, Section 24, Township 19, Range 3, West of the 5th Meridian to a facility in LSD 1-25-19-3 W5M. The proposed pipelines would be approximately 0.94 kilometres (km) in length with maximum outside diameters of 122 millimetres (mm) and 91 mm, respectively. The oil well effluent transported by the pipelines would contain a maximum hydrogen sulphide (H2S) concentration of 37.89 moles per kilomole (mol/kmol) (3.79 per cent). The proposed pipelines would be located approximately 2 km south of the town of Turner Valley.

Application No. 1473871 is for a licence to construct and operate two Level 1 pipelines for the purpose of transporting natural gas and oil well effluent from a facility located in LSD 1-35-19-3W5M to a pipeline tie-in point in LSD 3-25-19-3W5M. One pipeline would be approximately 2.70 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 mm and would transport natural gas containing a maximum H2S concentration of 32.2 mol/kmol (3.22 per cent). The second pipeline would be approximately 2.70 km in length with a maximum outside diameter of 120 mm and would transport oil well effluent containing a maximum H2S concentration of 37.89 mol/kmol (3.79 per cent). The proposed pipelines would be located approximately 1.1 km south of the town of Turner Valley.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:

(a) a concise statement indicating

(i) the manner in which the intervener's rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,

(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener's intended participation,

(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,

(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,

(v) the reasons why the intervener believes the Board should decide in the manner that the intervener advocates, and

(vi) the intervener's efforts, if any, to resolve issues associated with the proceeding directly with the applicant;

(b) the name, address in Alberta, telephone number, fax number and, if available, e-mail address of the intervener;

(c) if the intervener is represented by a representative, the name, address in Alberta, telephone number, fax number and, if available, e-mail address of the representative; and

(d) if the intervener is an unincorporated organization, the nature of the intervener's membership.

If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to these applications even if you have previously filed a submission with the Board or with Talisman Energy Ltd. on these applications.

If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the applications without further notice or without a hearing.

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.

In accordance with Section 12 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, all documents filed in respect of this proceeding must be placed on the public record unless otherwise ordered by the Board.

In accordance with Section 23.1 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, a person who intends to raise a question of constitutional law before the Board must give notice in accordance with Section 12 of the Administrative Procedures and Jurisdiction Act and its regulation.

In accordance with Section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.
