NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT OF HEARING
APPLICATIONS NO. 1598361, 1599688, AND 1599690

GRANDE PRAIRIE FIELD
The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB/Board) had scheduled a public hearing of Applications No. 1598361, 1599688, and 1599690 (Applications) at the Best Western Grande Prairie, 10745 – 117 Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta, commencing on March 4, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. The ERCB received a request from interested parties to postpone the hearing. The Board granted the request and will hold the hearing at a future date. A Notice of Rescheduling of Hearing will be issued as soon as new hearing dates have been determined.

Take notice that on February 11, 2010, Standard Energy Inc. (Standard) and Bellamont Exploration Ltd. amalgamated. Bellamont Exploration Ltd. is the amalgamation successor.
Description of the Applications
Application No. 1598361
Standard has applied, pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, for licences to drill two horizontal wells from a surface location in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 15, Section 30, Township 71, Range 4, West of the 6th Meridian, to bottomhole locations at LSD 1-30-71 -4W6M and LSD 2-30-71-4W6M. The maximum hydrogen sulphide ( H 2 S ) concentration would be about 23.4 moles per kilomole (mol/kmol) ( 2.34 per cent) and the cumulative drilling H 2 S release rate would be 0.0259 cubic metres per second, with an emergency planning zone of 0.46 kilometres (km). The purpose of the wells would be to obtain gas from the Montney Formation. The proposed wells would be located about 10.5 km east of Grande Prairie.

Standard has also submitted two applications, pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act, for approval to construct and operate two pipelines. One pipeline would be to transport natural gas from LSD 15-30-71-4W6M to a tie-in point at LSD 14-30-71-4W6M. This proposed pipeline would be about 0.63 km in length, would have a maximum outside diameter of 114.3 millimetres (mm), and would transport natural gas with a maximum H 2 S concentration of 15 mol/kmol (1.5 per cent). The second pipeline would transport fuel gas with no H 2 S from LSD 14-30-71-4W6M to the proposed well site at LSD 15-30-71-4W6M. The second proposed pipeline would be about 0.63 km in length and have a maximum outside diameter of 60.3 mm. The proposed pipelines would be located about 10.5 km east of Grande Prairie.
