Nature of the Applications

Imperial has applied pursuant to Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate approximately 11.8 km of a 406mm OD pipeline to transport natural gas from the Crown C Battery at LSD 9-16-48-27W4M to the Imperial Bonnie Glen Plant located at LSD 3-17-47-27W4M. The pipeline will have a maximum operating pressure of 9680 kPa (1404 psi) and contain a maximum H2S content of 2.5 mol/kmol (0.25%). The pipeline will cross under Wizard Lake using a Horizontal Directional Drill to install the pipe below the lake bottom.
