Nature of the Application

EnCana Oil & Gas Company Ltd. (EnCana), pursuant to section 15.212 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, EUB Interim Directive 96-3, and EUB Guide 58: Oilfield Waste Management Requirements for the Upstream Petroleum Industry, has applied to the EUB for approval to construct and operate an oilfield waste management facility consisting of surface facilities associated with a class Ib disposal well located in Legal Subdivision 4, Section 11, Township 15, Range 9, West of the 4th Meridian. The purpose of the facility will be to store and dispose of class Ib fluids down the associated disposal well.
