Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) had scheduled a public hearing of Application No. 1347899 at the Best Western Hotel, 10115 - 88th Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the hour of 1:00 p.m. The Board received a request from interested parties to reschedule the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.
Therefore, Take Notice that the EUB will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1347899 at the Best Western Hotel, 10115 88th Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
BA Energy Inc. (BA Energy) has applied pursuant to Section 11 of the Oil Sands Conservations Act for authorization to construct and operate a 41 400 m3/stream day upgrader and associated infrastructure. The upgrader would be located in Strathcona County in the south half of Section 10, Township 56, Range 21, West of the 4th Meridian, approximately 20 kilometres Northeast of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The proposed upgrader would be developed in three equal phases with the first phase scheduled for completion by late 2006.
