Liability Management Programs


History of Liability Management

It became very apparent in the late 1980's that the government, specifically the ERCB, had to take action in establishing appropriate liability management programs for industry in the decommissioning and abandonment of wells and facilities in Alberta.

Below is a list of reports and documents that got the ERCB and our Liability Management programs where they are today. We are continually reviewing and improving upon these programs and will add information as the programs change.
