APPLICATION NO. 1254348 FOR A SOUR GAS/OIL BATTERY

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) had scheduled a public hearing to be held at the Nanton Community Hall, 2204 - 18 Street, Nanton, Alberta, commencing at 9:00 a.m. on April 16, 2002, to review Well Licence No. 0242814 of Application No. 1068115 and consider Application No. 1254358 for a sour gas/oil facility. Conoco Canada Resources Limited advised the Board on March 13, 2002, it would no longer require the applied-for facility in Application No. 1254348. Therefore, it requested that the application be withdrawn and the review hearing be cancelled. It further indicated that the existing subject well would be abandoned. The Board agreed with the request. Therefore, please be advised that the hearing has been cancelled.
