ROCKY RIVER PETROLEUM LTD.

Take Notice that examiners appointed by the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB/Board) will hold a public hearing of Application 1527313 at the offices of the Board,
640 - 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, commencing on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Rocky River Petroleum Ltd. (RRP) submitted an application in accordance with
- Section 48 (1) of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act (OGCA) for an order declaring Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as a common carrier of gas from the Flat Mannville NN Pool, through a pipeline extending from Legal Subdivision (LSD) 9 of Section 2, Township 66, Range 20, West of the 4th Meridian to a tie-in point located at LSD 15-7-66-20W4M, through compression and metering facilities located at LSD 13-12-66-20W4M;
- Section 48 (4)(a) of the OGCA for the ERCB to designate a tie-in point located in LSD 9-2-66-20W4M as the point at which the common carrier shall take delivery of the gas to be transported under common carrier order;
- Section 48 (4)(b) of the OGCA for the ERCB to allocate the volume of production to be taken by CNRL from the RRP well in LSD 13-35-65-20W4M to be a minimum of 40.2 thousand cubic metres per day; and
- Section 56 of the OGCA for the common carrier order to be retroactive to the date of the application, September 25, 2007.

Notes
Any submission filed must contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener’s rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener’s intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,
(v) the reasons why the intervener believes the Board should decide in the manner that the intervener advocates, and

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the ERCB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
In accordance with Section 13 of the Energy Resources Conservation Board Rules of Practice, all documents filed in respect of this proceeding must be placed on the public record unless otherwise ordered by the Board, subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
In accordance with Section 40 of the Energy Resources Conservation Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.
