NOTICE OF HEARING

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1247777 at the Union Hall, 8302 113 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, commencing on Thursday, June 20, 2002, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

Nature of the Application

In accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act, Centrica Canada Limited (Centrica) submitted Application No. 1247777 to the EUB for approval to construct and operate a sweet gas pipeline and a sweet oil effluent pipeline from Legal Subdivision 9, Section 1, Township 56, Range 21, West of the 4th Meridian (LSD 9-1-56-21W4M) to a tie-in point at LSD 9-12-56-21W4M. The sweet gas pipeline would have a 60.3 millimetre (mm) outside diameter (OD), while the oil effluent pipeline would be 88.9 mm OD, with both pipelines approximately 1.55 kilometres (km) in length and set in a common ditch.
