Take Notice that examiners appointed by the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1307282 at the offices of the Board, 640 5th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, on Thursday, November 27, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Burlington Resources Canada Ltd. (Burlington) applied, on behalf of itself and Enermark Inc., pursuant to section 5.190 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for a holding in Sections 8 and 17 of Township 58, Range 18, West of the 5th Meridian (Sections 8 and 17-58-18 W5M), for the production of gas from the Bluesky Formation. The new area would be added to existing holdings established for Sections 7, 16, and 18-58-18 W5M. The conditions of the enlarged holding would remain unchanged with a 600 metre interwell distance, a 300 metre buffer zone, and a maximum well density of two wells per section per pool.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain information detailing:
(i) the desired disposition of the application,
(ii) the facts substantiating the position of the submitter, and
(iii) the reasons why the submitter believes that the EUB should decide in the manner advocated.
If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to this application in accordance with the timetable noted above even if you have previously filed a submission with the EUB. If no submissions are received in response to this notice, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the application without further notice or without a hearing.
In accordance with section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.
