NOTICE OF HEARING

APPLICATION NO.  1298953

ADVANTAGE OIL AND GAS LTD.

PROVOST AREA

 

Take Notice that examiners appointed by the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1298953 at the Central Park Hall, 4812 - 51 Avenue, Provost, Alberta, commencing on December 2, 2003, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.

 

Nature of Application No. 1298953

Advantage Oil and Gas Ltd. (Advantage) applied on April 15, 2003, in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act and Guide 56, for a permit to construct and operate a pipeline 5.33 kilometers (km) in length with an outside diameter (OD) of 114.3 mm. Advantage has proposed three possible pipeline routes within SW of 8 and the NW of 5-41-2W4M and a single route thereafter. All routes proposed would originate at a well at a surface location in LSD 6-8-41-2 W4M and tie into an existing gathering system at LSD 2-2-41-3W4M. (See attached map) The purpose of the proposed pipeline would be to transport natural gas with an H2S content of 0.0 mol/kmol.

Any person intending to make a submission with respect to the hearing of Application No. 1298953 shall file on or before 4:00 p.m. on November 21, 2003. Send one copy of your submission to the applicant at the name and address above and ten copies to:

Notes

Any submission filed shall contain information detailing:

 

(i)                the desired disposition of the application;

(ii)               the facts substantiating the position of the submitter;

(iii)             the reasons why the submitter believes the EUB should decide in the manner advocated; and

(iv)            how the proposed project, if approved, may directly and adversely affect the submitter.

 

If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to this application even if you have previously filed a submission with the Board or with Advantage on this application.

 

If there are no submissions received, this hearing may be cancelled and the EUB will continue to process the application without further notice or without a hearing.

 

In accordance with Section 38 of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board Rules of Practice, witnesses must give evidence under oath or affirmation.

 

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
