Nature of the Application
TransGlobe Energy Corporation submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate a pipeline for the purpose of transporting sweet natural gas from a wellsite in Section 28, Township 41, Range 27, West of the 4th Meridian to a pipeline tie in point at Section 13, Township 41, Range 28, West of the 4th Meridian. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 6.5 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 88.9 millimetres (mm) and would transport natural gas with a maximum hydrogen sulphide concentration of 0.0 moles per kilomole (0.0 per cent). The proposed pipeline would be located approximately 6 kilometres north and 5 kilometres west of Lacombe. Attached to this notice is a map indicating the proposed route for the pipeline.
