NOVA CHEMICALS CORPORATION

Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) may continue to process this application without further notice if no valid submissions are received on or before May 3, 2004.

Nature of the Application
Nova Chemical Corporation has submitted an application in accordance with Part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate a pipeline for the purpose of transporting propane and other natural gas liquids (feedstock/high vapour pressure products). The pipeline would transport the product from Legal Subdivision (LSD) 8, Section 14, Township 55, Range 22, West of the 4th Meridian, Fort Saskatchewan, to an existing facility at LSD 5-32-38-25W4M, Joffre, Alberta. The proposed pipeline would be approximately 180 kilometres (km) in length with a maximum outside diameter of 273.1 millimetres and would transport feedstock with 0.0 per cent hydrogen sulphide (H2S). Notes

Any submission filed shall contain information detailing:

(i)  how the proposed project, if approved, may directly and adversely affect the submitter.

(ii)  the facts in support of the position of the submitter;

(iii) the desired disposition of the application; and

(iv) the reasons why the submitter believes the EUB should decide in the manner advocated.

If you have an interest in this matter, you are required to make a submission with respect to this application even if you have previously filed a submission with the Board or with Nova Chemicals Corporation on this application.

If no submissions are received on or before May 3, 2004, the EUB may continue to process this application without further notice.

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
