Notice of Limited Availability of Microfiche from Information Services

The availability of data and information stored on microfiche, as described in Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB)

Guide 01: Publications, Maps and Services Catalogue, is limited as a result of operational equipment failures.
Effective immediately,

• All nonconfidential microfiche is available for viewing at ERCB Information Services,
  640 - 5 Ave SW, first floor, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Microfiche orders on an individual well basis are being taken and are being processed off site. Customers are contacted by telephone or e-mail as soon as their orders are available. Best efforts are being made to fill orders, and the delivery time of orders is one week or longer.
• Complete data sets and historical data sets are not available.

The long-term solution to the limited availability of microfiche will be addressed by scanning the microfiche collection and making it available electronically. Planning of this large project has been initiated. Service levels that will be available in the interim, including microfiche turnaround time, are currently being defined, and will be communicated in early March.
