Revised Edition of Directive 071: Emergency Preparedness and Response Requirements for the Petroleum Industry (November 2008) Issued

The November 2008 revised edition of Directive 071: Emergency Preparedness and Response Requirements for the Petroleum Industry is now available from the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) and replaces the July 2008 edition. Changes to the July 2008 edition of Directive 071 are intended to address feedback from stakeholders that some areas required clarification. Therefore, the changes made are not substantive and are mainly to provide clarification. Appendix 10 of the directive highlights all changes to Directive 071. Licensees are reminded that risk-based noncompliance events for Directive 071 are on the ERCB Web site www.ercb.ca.
