Enhanced Production Audit Program
The Production Audit Team is proud to announce its Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP).
EPAP combines the latest audit methods with an emphasis on continuous improvement. EPAP’s goal is to create a collaborative approach to better meeting our mandate without creating a significant burden for operators. Our two key performance measures, raising the level of assurance over compliance with the ERCB’s measurement and reporting requirements and raising the level of compliance itself will, we believe, be more easily achieved with EPAP than through any other way.
EPAP means some significant changes in how we relate to industry (read our Team Leader's message on “The End of Gotcha! Auditing” ) and in what we expect from industry in return. Our new Directive 076 and EPAP Operators' Handbook are here to answer questions and suggest methods and approaches designed to help industry get the most out of this new program.
Key among these changes is that you will be hearing from us more often and that these contacts will be both positive and constructive. Every operator will be assigned to a specific member of our Production Audit Team (PAT) so that stronger relationships and greater understanding can be developed – relationships that will be invaluable in resolving the questions or problems that will inevitably arise as we work together to reach our goals.
Who we are
Our team consists of many individuals, many with years of experience with the ERCB, some with fresh ideas from other auditing environments, some with field audit experience, and some with an office procedures focus.
