OVERVIEW OF REGULATIONS FOR HYDRAULIC FRACTURING

Calgary, Alberta (February 17, 2012) Members of the media are invited to a technical briefing with representatives of the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) regarding current regulations governing hydraulic fracturing operations in Alberta.

The presentation will take place in Calgary, with a videoconference in Edmonton upon request. All members of the media must register to participate. Cameras and recording equipment will not be permitted during the technical briefing. Following the technical briefing, ERCB representatives will be available for comment.
