PROPOSED JOSLYN NORTH MINE PROJECT

The Joint Review Panel (the Panel) established to review the Joslyn North Mine Project has determined, following its review of the Application, that it will proceed to hearing. The Panel appreciated the time and efforts of those who have provided very detailed comments during the consultation period on the revised Application and on the additional information filed by the proponent, Total E&P Joslyn Ltd.
Panel is of the view that additional information is required from the proponent but that the lack of information is minor in nature. The Panel has provided a list of questions to which Total E&P Joslyn Ltd has made a commitment to respond as indicated in its letter of June 24, 2010.
