This Amended Notice of hearing corrects an error in the location contained in the original Notice of Hearing issued for this proceeding on April 6, 2005. This Amended Notice of Hearing supersedes the original Notice of Hearing dated April 6, 2005.
Take Notice that Examiners appointed by the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1383214 at the High Wood Memorial Centre, 128 - 5th Avenue West, High River, Alberta, commencing on April 28, 2005, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Exxonmobil Canada Ltd. (Exxonmobil) has applied pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations for a licence to drill a vertical natural gas well with Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) present from a surface location in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 8, Section 3, Township 19, Range 29, West of the 4th Meridian. The maximum H2S concentration would be approximately 10 mol/kmol (1.0%) and the cumulative drilling H2S release rate would be 0.0196 cubic metres per second (m3/s) with a corresponding emergency planning zone of 0.2 kilometers (km). The purpose of the well would be to obtain natural gas production from the Cutbank Formation. The proposed well would be located approximately 1.9 km West of the Town of High River, Alberta.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener's rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener's intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
