The Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) scheduled a public hearing of Application No. 1487310 at the offices of the Board, 640 – 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, commencing on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. A request was made by interested party to reschedule the hearing and the Board decided to grant this request.
Therefore Take Notice that the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB/Board) will hold a public hearing of Application No. 1487310 at the offices of the EUB, 640 – 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, commencing on Monday, April 23, 2007, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Application
Canadian Natural Resources Limited has applied pursuant to the Oil and Gas Conservation Act (the Act) for an order prescribing that all tracts within the drilling spacing unit comprising Section 23 of Township 58, Range 17, West of the 4th Meridian, be operated as a unit for the production of gas from all zones to the base of Wabamun Formation, through a well to be drilled in Legal Subdivision 11 of the section.
The applicant is requesting, among other things, that costs and revenues under the pooling order be allocated on tract basis, and that it be named the operator of the well. The applicant has also requested that the maximum penalty allowed under the Act be applied to a tract's share of the actual costs of drilling and completing the well if the tract owner does not pay its share of those costs within 30 days of the later of the pooling order being issued, the tract owner being given written notice of its share of costs, and the well in question being placed on production.

Notes
Any submission filed shall contain the following:
(a) a concise statement indicating
(i) the manner in which the intervener’s rights may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proceeding,
(ii) the nature and scope of the intervener’s intended participation,
(iii) the disposition of the proceeding that the intervener advocates, if any,
(iv) the facts the intervener proposes to show in evidence,
(v) the reasons why the intervener believes the Board should decide in the manner that the intervener advocates, and

Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the EUB, but may be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.
