Take Notice the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB/Board) had scheduled a public hearing of Proceeding No. 1553726 at the offices of the ERCB, 640 – 5 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, commencing on November 5, 2008, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. The Board received a request to adjourn the hearing and it agreed to grant the request.
Therefore Take Notice that the ERCB/Board will hold a public hearing of Proceeding No. 1553726 at the offices of the ERCB, 640 – 5 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, commencing on December 17, 2008, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. All interveners to this proceeding must be present at the commencement of the hearing to register their appearance.
Nature of the Proceeding
Canadian Crude Separators Inc. (CCS) has been granted, pursuant to Section 40 of the Energy Resources Conservation Act, a review hearing relating to the Energy and Utilities Board’s (EUB’s) denial of Application No. 1515213.
On June 12, 2007, CCS submitted Application No. 1515213 to the EUB for approval to convert its Class II water disposal scheme to a Class 1b waste disposal scheme for a well located at LSD 9 of Section 1, Township 48, Range 14, West of the 5th Meridian, in the Brazeau River Nisku J Pool. On November 22, 2007, the EUB denied the application. On December 21, 2007, CCS submitted a request for a review of the EUB’s decision and on March 20, 2008, the ERCB granted the request for a review of the decision.
