ERCB NAMED ONE OF ALBERTA’S BEST WORKPLACES
Calgary, Alberta (October 18, 2008) -- The Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) has been selected as a winner in the Alberta’s Top 40 Employers competition.
Now entering its fourth year, Alberta's Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the Alberta employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
“The Energy Resources Conservation Board is a great place to work,” said ERCB Chairman Dan McFadyen. “It is a unique workplace, where employees truly can make a difference in the interest of all Albertans.”
“This is a significant achievement for us and it is great to see the ERCB being recognized for the diverse career opportunities we offer, our commitment to providing a positive work environment, and our dedication to working in the public interest,” McFadyen concluded.
The ERCB’s nearly 900 staff work in 13 locations across Alberta.
The ERCB ensures that the discovery, development, and delivery of Alberta's energy resources take place in a manner that is fair, responsible, and in the public interest.
