For companies preparing a self-disclosure for the non-compliance with respect to control well obligations, this CBM Excel spreadsheet  or the Shale Gas Excel spreadsheet must be used in conjunction with completing the requirements of Section 6 of Directive 019: Compliance Assurance.

Please note: A change will be made effective May 7, 2012 to the CBM Pressure and Flow Control Wells table. An additional column will be inserted into the table to identify control wells which have been temporarily suspended. Any control well that has been identified as suspended cannot be used to provide control well coverage for any well commencing new CBM production.
