Information Sessions on Commingling of Production Within Development Entities and Related Water Surveillance Requirements
On September 14, 2006, the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) issued Bulletin 2006-32: Implementation of Revised Process for the Management of Commingling of Production from Two or More Pools in the Wellbore. That bulletin announced the EUB’s decision to target an implementation date of October 31, 2006, for two development entities (DE).
The EUB will hold information sessions related to commingled production within DEs and the related water surveillance requirements for wells with completions above the base of groundwater protection. The information sessions will provide stakeholders with essential details on the new requirements related to DEs and water surveillance. Companies intending to commingle production within DEs or have wells completed for production above the base of the groundwater are urged to attend one of the sessions.
The information sessions are scheduled as follows:
- October 30, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- October 30, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- October 31, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- October 31, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre, 120 – 9 Avenue SE, Calgary.
Additional sessions will be scheduled if necessary.
To register for one of these sessions, please send an e-mail no later than 12:00 p.m., October 27, 2006, to rsc-appl.admin@eub.gov.ab.ca with the date and time of the session you wish to attend.
