Alberta Environment and EUB Agreement to Strengthen Groundwater Protection

The Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) and Alberta Environment (AENV) have developed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance collaboration for the protection of and management of groundwater with respect to the energy sector.

The MOU outlines guiding principles and early action items that the EUB and AENV have agreed to implement to ensure groundwater is protected from oil and gas development.
