Electronic Submission of Applications for Exceptions to Coalbed Methane (CBM) Control Well Requirements
1 Electronic Filing of Applications for Exceptions to CBM Control Well Requirements
Effective September 29, 2008, applications for exceptions to CBM desorption and pressure and flow control well requirements may be submitted electronically through the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) Electronic Application Submission (EAS) system. The process for submitting the CBM control well applications will be the same as that followed during the filing of other types of applications through EAS.
The requirements for CBM control well applications submitted through EAS have been captured in part on an EAS form. Other information as set out in Directive 062: Coalbed Methane Control Well Requirements and Related Matters is also required as attachments to the application.
The ERCB encourages all applicants to file these types of applications electronically, as this will increase the accuracy of the applications and the efficiency of processing.
2 Digital Data Submission Access
Access to EAS for resources applications is through the Digital Data Submission (DDS) page on the ERCB’s Web site www.ercb.ca. All applicants must have a company administrator login ID. The company administrator is responsible for creating additional login IDs for individuals at their particular organization who will be submitting the applications.
