Revised Draft Directive 020: Well Abandonment Available on ERCB Web Site for Stakeholder Comment

The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) is soliciting feedback on its revised draft Directive 020: Well Abandonment. The draft is available on the ERCB Web site www.ercb.ca under Industry Zone : Rules, Regulations, and Requirements : Directives.

Stakeholders are invited to provide feedback on the revised well abandonment requirements by filling out the Comment Form available on the Directive 020 Web page and submitting it to the ERCB by November 6, 2009. Comments and questions may be forwarded to the ERCB by e-mail to ERCB.WellOperations@ercb.ca.

The ERCB will then review feedback and make changes as necessary before releasing the revised edition of Directive 020.
