WTC Review (Status and documents from the WTC Review process)

Current Business Rules and Practices

This section provides the current rules, requirements, and procedures for submitting well test data.

Directive 040: Pressure and Deliverability Testing - Oil and Gas Wells provides the requirements and recommended practices for pressure and deliverability testing of oil and gas wells.

All companies are required to submit current well test data electronically in the appropriate PAS formats. Hard copy / paper reports will only be accepted for well tests captured prior to January 1, 1999.

Further to ERCB Directive 040: Pressure and Deliverability Testing - Oil and Gas Wells, the ERCB has developed the means to electronically capture industry-collected well tests consisting of gas and fluid analyses, AOF, acoustic well sounder data, static and transient gauge pressure data, and drillstem tests.
